Here you can revel in the beauty of the mountains, relax to the sounds of the river, and experience an unforgettable trip. Our cozy and charming cabins & campsites offer stunning views, wonderful amenities, and an unbeatable location. Nestled among picturesque peaks, there is no shortage of lovely sights when you stay in our campsites & cabins. Every season is equally lovely. From snow-capped peaks in the winter to bright gold aspen leaves in the fall, you’ll never be left wanting when it comes to picture-perfect surroundings. We are just minutes from Monarch Mountain, which boasts 800 ski-able acres and an annual average snowfall of over 350 inches. Just a short drive east of our cabins is Salida, Colorado known as the ‘Gem of the Rockies’. This small but vibrant town offers a number of restaurants and shops as well as festivals and events throughout the year. New for 2023 Creekside Chalets has added 3 Creekside Camping spots all with access to the North Fork of the South Arkansas creek that flows through the property. The sites are located in an aspen grove along the creek with a picnic table provided and room to park one vehicle up to 20 feet long and space for a tent. 30 amp power is provided to each site, a porta-potty within 250 feet and water from a camp spigot. The campsites are pet friendly, $30 per pet per stay, max 2 pets.

I wish we would’ve had more time in the area. The campsite was perfect listening to the creek. Loved the privacy afforded by the setup. Great spot!

Mt. Princeton Chalet
We had a fantastic time at the Creekside Chalets, from the ease of the check-in to the site's amenities. We travel with a senior dog, and having a comfortable pet area is a major plus. I was worried about the proximity to the road, but they have nice fencing and enough trees to allow pet safety and privacy. If you travel with kids, there are outdoor areas they will enjoy as well. We loved it and will be back!

Very clean. Water was rushing down the creek, so sound was good. I had an issue with booking that she went out of her way to help me with.

The property is beautiful and quaint. The river is so peaceful. The only compliant I have is that the tenants in the cabin nearby were very ignorant and left their beaming porch light on the entire night, which was shining in my car and on me. I almost went and knocked on the door, almost unscrewed the lightbub myself, it really took away from the feeling of camping and relaxation for sure, made me feel like i was in the city in a backyard. After this review, I reall hope the host just unscrews the lightbulb to eliminate this happening in the future.

Beautiful area! We went camping in the snow and had a wonderful time! Beautiful area, very accessible, very kind and helpful staff. Helped us with things that were definitely not in his job description, for which we are very grateful! Will definitely be coming back here! Maybe when there's a little less snow

Creekside Chalets-Mt. Pahlone Camp
A beautiful and convenient place to stay on our road trip to NM! The trees and the creek were just lovely! The sound of the creek totally covers any passing traffic noise and you really can’t see the road from the camping spots. We were able to rent a propane fire pit that came delivered to our site along with the cutest smores kit. 100% would stay again!
